Absolique Hair Health Clinic Trichologist has been working with HTMA and Interclinical Laboratories throughout her 20 plus years as a practising Trichologist. We are happy to announce HTMA is now available at our Brisbane clinic. You would need to visit us in clinic for 15 minutes so we can collect the hair. The hair would need to be recently washed and the type of shampoo or scalp cleanser noted. The sample is then sent away with a comprehensive report returning in up to 6 weeks. Once we have reviewed the report you will attend a 30 minute in clinic or phone appointment to discuss the outcome and if any dietary, lifestyle or supplement changes are required.
Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis – HTMA cost is $267 including Trichologist interpretation and recommendations. 50% deposit will be required upon collection of the hair. We will need 0.5g or one heaped tablespoon of clean untreated hair (colour and chemical treatment free) from the terminal area which is back of the head and only the first 2.5cm from the scalp, lengths of hair are not suitable as they will reflect what has happened in the body, not what is current.
